2013 – 2015:

  • Joined the JP Honk Band on accordion and flugelhorn
  • Created two one hour programs of classical piano plus Scott Joplin, provided to Assisted Living Residences Goddard House and One Hundred Centre Street, Brookline, MA.
  • Created a program of classical arias accompanying  mezzo soprano for performances in private living rooms and Assisted Living Residences called Songs of Love, Loss, and Longing
  • Developing a repertoire of Breton traditional tunes on piano accordion.
  • Played popular songs including sing-alongs at a local Moth story telling event on piano accordion.
  • Performed on piano and accordion for wedding.

2012 – 2013:

  • Played flugelhorn in several Community Bands in performances in the local Boston area.
  • Played flugelhorn in a pickup Klezmer ensemble and with a jazz group
  • Played piano chamber music with various musicians




  • Envisioned the need for a legal handbook for battered women, pulled together a team of attorneys, advocates and supporters, and managed the project from start to finish culminating in the publication of “Battered Women: How to Use the Law”

1987 – 1995:

  • Leading expert in Massachusetts on AIDS in Prison, advocating for and succeeding in small ways in improving the care and treatment of HIV-positive prisoners
  • Developed a report focused on how developing alternatives to incarceration for low level incarcerated offenders would both save money and lower recidivism, leading to development of new programs and approaches to incarceration in certain county jails in Massachusetts
  • Helped to spearhead and manage the project that resulting in recruiting attorneys for 8 women serving lengthy prison sentences at Framingham State Prison for Women for killing their abusers, known as the Framingham Eight.
